OUR SHARED MISSION
Boerne100 exists to connect men who have a heart for service and are looking for a real, practical way to make a difference in our local community. We recognize that personal service can be difficult due to limited time and/or resources and finding a worthy, legitimate charity that inspires you can be challenging. We created this organization to meet that need.
Our membership consists of 100 men who meet once a quarter to learn about charities doing good work in our local community. We then combine our resources to make a meaningful contribution to the most deserving of them. This concept of “collective giving” has been popular for years because of the simple belief that giving can be much more powerful, and impactful, if we do it together.
Each member pledges $500 annually. $100 goes towards operating expenses, and $400 is reserved for charities for a collective total of $10,000 per meeting. The charities are nominated by members and are required to spend all funds within Kendall, Bandera, Gillespie, Kerr, Blanco, Bexar, and Comal counties.
